In 1945 Groff's Scrapyard opened in Quarryville, PA.  For years the company took in scrap metals of all kinds.  Through the early years usable metal pieces were salvaged and resold to the farming and business community and the rest sent off to be recycled.  In 1975 James Groff & Son, Inc. was born.  The large shop was built, and the sales of new steel were expanded to supply the needs of steel to the area.  In 2006 it was recognized that there was a lack of a local place to buy truck caps and vehicle accessories.  The vehicle accessory division was born to add on to our other services.  As times changed the original flagship of the company, the scrap yard was shut down in 2018.  Fast forward to today the company is going strong providing metals to the community and accessorizing vehicles for one offs and large fleets.  We couldn't do it without you, our customers which we are thankful for and look forward to serving for many years to come.
