In 1945 Groff's Scrapyard opened in Quarryville, PA.  For years the company took in scrap metals of all kinds.  Through the early years usable metal pieces were salvaged and resold to the farming and business community and the rest sent off to be recycled.  In 1975 James Groff & Son, Inc. was born.  The current building was built, and the sales of new steel were expanded.  In 2006 the company started offering spray on bed liners for trucks.  With that ARE truck caps came in the picture.  Fast forward to today and the company is still going strong thanks to past and present customers.
